Protect Your Business

Complimentary Essential 8 Cyber Security Workshop

Cyber attacks are becoming more sophisticated and frequent. How can you protect your business, secure your systems and keep your data safe?  It’s hard to know what to put in place to protect your business and even where to start.

 What are you up against?

Common cyber threats include phishing and ransomware. Protecting against these threats is essential and it's no longer the case that having anti-virus in place is enough to protect your business.

Over one third of all cyber incidents reported in the first year of the Notifiable Data Breaches (NBD) scheme, were attributed to compromised credentials obtained through phishing.

Ransomware attacks targeting businesses are on the rise and these can result in the encryption of critical files and in some cases even the encryption of backups that would have been used for recovery purposes.

Essential protection

If you want to harden your defences against cyber attacks, a great place to start is with the Australian Cyber Security Centre's (ACSC) Essential Eight mitigation strategies. These 8 strategies make it much harder for someone to compromise your systems and the top 4 of these strategies have been mandatory for federal agencies since 2014.

Magnitude 8 specialises in advising businesses on how best to implement these strategies. No one solution fits all, and we know how to best implement these strategies for small businesses right through to the enterprise.

Essential Eight Workshop

We can help you plan an implementation from the beginning or assess your current cyber defences and Essential Eight maturity level.  If you want to find out more about the Essential Eight, please contact us for a complimentary 2 hour workshop. We cover:

✔ The current threat landscape, what we're seeing and the attacks you're most likely to face.

✔ What the Essential Eight strategies are and how they strengthen defences and protect systems.

Three action items that you can take out of the workshop and implement to improve your cyber defences.

Complimentary workshops must be booked in before November 30, 2019. Where possible workshops will be held face to face or via video conferencing if meeting in person is not feasible.
